Porcelain flat plate with floral decoration. Granduca Coreana collection.
The flat plates are made of fine porcelain with pure gold thread and tell about an important chapter in the history of the Ginori 1735 manufacture. They draw inspiration from the passion of florentine noblewomen for the decorations of the Imperial Kimono, from which the floral motif called "Korean style" is taken. The undisputed protagonist of the collection is the peony (Mudan), a flower with a strong symbolic meaning that in Asian iconography represents spring and love, beauty and happiness. The dinner plates completes the table, tea and coffee assortment, for refined and harmonious mise en place.
